The Foundation: Ronnie Allen’s Vision
Aquarius Pools was founded in 1976 by Ronnie Allen. Named after the zodiac sign of his wife, Debbie, Aquarius began with Ronnie installing fiberglass pools before making the pivotal decision to move into gunite construction. Once he made that transition, he never looked back.
Ronnie quickly grew Aquarius into a well respected and thriving business throughout St. Tammany Parish and South Louisiana. Over the next four decades, he proudly constructed more than 2,000 quality pools, each one built with care, integrity, and attention to detail.
For ten years, Ronnie worked side by side with his son, Michael, passing down not only technical knowledge but the core values that continue to define Aquarius today. His philosophy was simple and unwavering: “We will give our customers everything they have the reasonable right to expect, and then some.” Quality pool construction was always the number one goal.
That commitment remains the foundation of Aquarius Pools & Spas, and Ronnie’s legacy lives on through the family, the team, and every project we build.

Every Aquarius pool is built with durability, protection, and long term performance in mind. We carry full general liability and workers’ compensation coverage, providing our clients with peace of mind throughout the construction process.
After installation, we provide complimentary post installation training, often referred to as “pool school,” to help homeowners feel confident caring for and enjoying their pool. Education and transparency have always been core to our approach.
